A high-growth, leader in the hydraulics space retained Pacific to recruit for a Quality Engineer to drive and develop their QMS (Quality Management Solutions) at their flagship facility in Nashville.
The organisation had been experiencing significant growth since their recent transition away from their parent company. They were backfilling a critical role previously filled by a highly-skilled engineer. They needed a quality engineer who could thrive in an individual contributor role and help break down siloes related to the current QMS. The client wanted a high-potential candidate with a strong QMS background to fill this gap. The critical quality management skillset required by the hiring team, paired with the hands-on nature of the role proved to be a new test to Pacific’s resourcing abilities.
Our resourcing skills were tested during this search given our unfamiliarity with the region. However, we were able to streamline our recruiting efforts and found the perfect candidate who had the exact skillset needed in less than two weeks. After being with his previous organisation for over ten years and feeling there was no room for him to progress, we presented him with a new challenge that he couldn’t resist.
The perfect candidate was the first one presented to the client. He started his new role less than a month after his first interview. With a strong quality background and even more impressive ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, he offered the hands-on and strategic fit our client was struggling to find.
