This was a follow-up mandate after successfully delivering a program leader who would be responsible for driving The Operational Excellence program in one of their key manufacturing sites located in Europe, which was also the pilot site for a blueprint linked to future growth of the business. The profile being hunted was scarce due to the specific technical requirements associated to the position which was paramount to deliver the programme.
As this was the third engagement with this specific client, Pacific were familiar with the target organisations to focus on when conducting the market mapping exercise. Additionally, Pacific had trailed a previous strategy which was successful when making a previous hire, which involved targeting neighboring European countries focus on emerging markets to attract the right talent.
Pacific delivered the project effectively by identifying a second diverse technical leadership profile for the business within a timely manner. The profile was relocated from Spain to the Netherlands and is now in the process of onboarding with the organisation and the broader program objective plans are still intact. Pacific has maintained a good relationship with the business and are currently in discussion to continue supporting the organisation through as they undergo their new change and transformation initiative.
