Due to rapid growth and nature of the solar industry, we understood from the initial intake meeting with the VP of Sales and VP HR that this first talent acquisition was crucial for their business in Poland for further success with the customer base across Poland within the solar and renewable energy sector. Pacific’s knowledge of the commercial leadership talent in Poland along with native Polish speakers in our delivery team enabled us to act quickly on the search mandate.
The search was led by Rupert Haffenden and our native Polish, Client Delivery Manager (Natalia Zonneveld). They oversaw the delivery of the search for the client following a detailed meeting on the market strategy and mapping out the hiring process to the CEO and Sales Director of Europe.
We managed to deliver an ideal candidate through our direct network by using high level bespoke video interviews and concise screening for the client whilst the pandemic talent restrictions created added complexity.
The search mandate was successfully closed within 3 months from end-to-end process. Whilst this was the first key hire for the site in Poland, it came with some complex contract clauses that had conflicted the process to extend to an additional 3 months due to the tax and legislation clauses in Poland.
The search has led us to build a strong working relationship across the wider Europe and Latin American region with the CEO and Sales Director. Pacific is the chosen partner for their commercial leadership searches.
